Dr. Alfred Dorey brings a wealth of organizational talent to Vitrium, honed by his extensive experience in oil sands engineering. Dr Dorey is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta and worked as an instructor in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta for more than 10 years. He currently works as a Project Engineer and Senior Structural Engineer for Colt Engineering Corporation in Edmonton, Alberta, and is one of the founders of Vitrium Systems.
Dr. Dorey holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Alberta.
Blair Adamson has an extensive background in communications and marketing. Mr. Adamson's work has won numerous awards, including at the Merit One and Silver One shows and the MC Icon Awards in 2001. He is currently the Director of Marketing and Communications for McDonalds Restaurants in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mr. Adamson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a concentration in International Economics and Trade, from Carleton University.
Geoffrey Adamson is a financial services industry veteran with a deep understanding of how businesses can benefit from digital information distribution. He formerly served as Vice President of e-Commerce at Bank of America, where he helped to establish the bank as the world's number one online financial service.
Mr. Adamson came to Bank of America from Stanford Business School, where he worked with industry and academic leaders, analyzing how information technology change can impact business.
Mr. Adamson holds degrees from The University of Western Ontario and the London School of Economics.
Alan Grossert has developed considerable expertise in project and operational management during his years working with Canadian provincial health authorities. Before taking up his current position with the Provincial Health Services Authority of British Columbia, he provided industrial engineering and management consulting services throughout the healthcare system in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Mr. Grossert´s specialty is the optimization of business processes and the delivery of efficient customer-focused services.
Mr. Grossert graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Alan MacLennan has a wealth of experience and expertise in the computer software industry. Mr. MacLennan started his career as a software and systems consultant with Clarkson Gordon (now Ernst and Young). He was later instrumental in the formation of respected consulting firm HBM Integrated Solutions. In 1997, Mr. MacLennan joined Computer Associates (now Sage AccPac), where he went on to become Director of Strategic Accounts. He joined Retail Pro, one of the world´s leading providers of retail operations software, in 2006.
Mr. MacLennan graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a BSc (Hons). He also earned a Diploma in Systems Analysis and Design from the International Technology Institute, finishing first in his class.
Peter Nieforth was instrumental in bringing together the founders who designed Vitrium's business model based on Narayan Sainaney's research and protectedpdf technology. Mr. Nieforth specializes in financing, organizing and commercializing promising start-ups, most recently acting as Director of Investment for The Loreto Bay Company, where he raised 18 million US dollars for the development of the world's largest sustainable resort community, in the Mexican Baja. Mr. Nieforth has also served as an investment specialist for BMO Bank of Montreal, a Financial Advisor for Yorkton Securities and a Financial Consultant for Merrill Lynch Canada Inc.
Mr. Nieforth studied Political Science at Acadia University and graduated from Mount Saint Agnes Academy in Hamilton, Bermuda.
