Software Sales Representative

Vitrium Systems is a leading content security and digital rights management (DRM) software provider that sells to small and medium-sized organizations that are looking to protect their revenue-generating content such as training materials, eBooks, research reports, standards documents, and video content. The company is poised for growth with opportunities in vertical markets such as associations, research firms, standards organizations and educational content providers. We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative, preferably someone with experience selling software solutions, who will bring a lot of energy, passion, and dedication to the job.  Our company has aggressive growth plans over the next few years and there is a big opportunity for someone to make a direct impact in Vitrium. We are a small company of 10 based in downtown Vancouver, close to all transit hubs, with a great gym in the building.  We are a hard-working, nose-to-the-grind kind of company, but we also offer flexible working hours, are committed to a work-life balance, and enjoy stimulating conversations around the office!

Key Responsibilities:·

  • Making outbound sales calls into targeted lists, supported by marketing efforts
  • Following up and qualifying inbound leads from various paid and organic marketing programs
  • Educating prospects on the value of Vitrium’s solutions
  • Building a high-quality, well-qualified pipeline of opportunities
  • Closing deals and winning new business for the company
  • Tracking all activity and managing opportunities in the company’s CRM system, HubSpot
  • Providing feedback to the marketing team about the campaigns and programs that are used to support the sales effort
  • Providing feedback to the CEO about business opportunities or strategies that could help improve sales and close more business 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a software or technology company
  • Diploma or degree in sales or business administration
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational and technical skills
  •  Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
  • Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude
