Business Development Representative

About You

You have a knack for selling! You are well-spoken and have the tremendous ability of connecting with people. You have a keen interest in software and technology. You are comfortable doing sales entirely over Zoom, phone and email. You have great communication skills and are very organized with your time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Following up, qualifying and closing sales deals
  • Calling into targeted lists supported by marketing efforts
  • Conducting online meetings and software demos with prospects
  • Educating prospects on the value of Vitrium’s software solutions
  • Building a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities 
  • Sending renewal notices out & identifying upsell opportunities
  • Tracking all lead and sales activity in the company’s CRM system

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in sales or business administration
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Exceptional written & verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational & time management skills
  • Proficient with (or quick to learn) online software programs
  • Experience with Office programs: Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to prioritize & work independently
  • Ability to multi-task & work under tight timelines
  • Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience selling software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions
  • Experience selling via Zoom, phone, and email
  • Experience using HubSpot CRM
