DevOps Engineer

If you have DevOps experience or related software engineering experience in a SaaS environment, excellent communication skills, and proficient organizational capabilities, then you're the DevOps Engineer we’re looking for! Vitrium develops cloud-based DRM solutions for documents, images, audio and video content.

About You

You have a solid background in cloud-based software engineering with experience working with Microsoft Azure (bonus if you are certified). You are proficient working in an agile / scrum model and you have the uncanny ability to identify ways to improve development & QA processes!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Vitrium's Azure infrastructure & identify ways to improve and expand as the company grows
  • Review Vitrium's CI & CD processes & seek ways to improve them
  • Examine Vitrium's data security processes & ensure we follow ISO 27001 standards procedures
  • Monitor Vitrium's Azure servers & respond promptly to any system conditions (CPU, storage, etc.) 
  • Fine-tune Vitrium's log management to quickly troubleshoot & resolve issues or problems
  • Work with the Dev team to ensure automated test cases are built for every new feature or API created 
  • Monitor key performance metrics in Azure to assess server performance, lead time, unit costs, problem severity, and more 
  • Work collaboratively with the Dev & QA teams 
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings  
  • Use the company’s JIRA system to track tasks & projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in a similar DevOps role
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure 
  • 3 years of experience with .Net C# and MS T-SQL
  • Previous experience working in an agile / scrum environment
  • Previous experience using JIRA, GIT, or related programs  
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Some experience with C++, PHP, Node.Js or other back-end code
  • Some experience with QA or testing
  • Some experience with technical writing
