Solutions Engineer (PHP, C#, React)

Vitrium is a small, but fast-growing software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that develops content protection and digital rights management (DRM) solutions for organizations around the world. Our software platform protects documents, images, audio and video content. Our global customers range from small to large-sized businesses and who are primarily in the education, training, research, and digital publishing spaces.

About You

You are a talented PHP and C# developer with some expertise in React.js, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. You are able to work independently, but in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy working with customers and making sure your work matches their requirements. If you have worked with WordPress websites and WooCommerce before, then this is a bonus!

Our company has shifted to 100% remote working but prefer to hire someone in the Greater Vancouver area so we can connect occasionally for team-building events or other company events. You must also be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate Vitrium Security software with customers’ 3rd party business systems, primarily eCommerce systems (i.e. WooCommerce), Learning Management Systems (LMS), Association Management Systems (AMS), and more
  • Work with Vitrium’s RESTful JSON APIs for these integration projects using PHP, C#, and React
  • Work closely with our salespeople and be the technical expert and point of contact during pre-sales
  • Create workflow diagrams / flowcharts for customer implementations
  • Assist with preparing Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Provide implementation training & support to customers
  • As required, provide support to Vitrium’s other customers
  • Assist in creating technical documentation
  • Provide feedback for Vitrium’s roadmap and contribute ideas for new features and improvements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Min. 3 to 5 years of software implementation and integration experience
  • Degree in computer science, software development/engineering, or related discipline
  • Strong development skills, primarily with PHP and C#
  • Knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks (PHP, C#, React, .NET, JavaScript, etc.)
  • 3+ years of customer or technical support experience
  • Previous experience working with JSON and RESTful APIs
  • Previous experience working with MS SQL and SQL queries
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience using debugging tools and/or interpreting log files
  • Good organizational & time management skills
  • Confident and capable with a successful track record of working in a fast-paced technical environment and working on multiple projects

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience working with OAuth, SAML or other popular single sign-on (SSO) methods
  • Project management skills
